Wow. Although disappointed not to have checked out the above (interview, video & comments) prior to attending the SusMtgsConf in person, it was also exciting to have a post-conference perspective: reviewing how it was introduced, witnessing how the mixed audience was already engaged, and (now) to know how truly well the Game On experiment went.
Surely, lessons and ideas for improvement will continue to surface, as with any try at a new idea. But, what an ideal opportunity to experience, matching the missions of our constantly evolving GMIC.

Well done, and THANK YOU, conference leaders!

I've tried a similar concept out a few meetings with great success. One of the key elements is engaging attendees in the process. So fun and so effective! Can't wait to hear how it goes on this scale.

Midori, great video!

Incorporating social gaming into meetings can be a pragmatic solution to tackling many of the obstacles we face as meeting strategists. This simple platform enables attendees instant access to networking opportunities, will engage attendees and deliver meaningful events.

The challenge of getting participants to step up to the plate is always great. To get them to overcome their insecurities and feel comfortable/safe to expose what they don't know to a group of peers will take some thought.

So glad I will be on site to participate in the GMIC, Game On experiment!

Sam, we are so thrilled to have such a leader in meeting innovation participate in our event.

I know you share the same passion for experimentation - so fingers crossed at the end we discover this is an experiment worth the effort :) As I always try to remind people, with technology we really must take a leap and at least try to experiment. The worse that could happen is that it doesn't work and we then try again.

Here is another short video that explains a little more about how the conference actually works. Enjoy!
